Where we come from

We're colleagues who spent years running manufacturing, quality, and supply chains in Southern China for multinational corporations. When COVID cut the world off from its factories, we watched supply chains fail for one reason: nobody trustworthy was standing on the ground. Metier is our answer: the quality, speed, and prices of Asian sourcing, with the communication and accountability of the office next door.

2020 · DISRUPTION
COVID cut factories off from their overseas owners, and supply chains failed wherever no one trustworthy was on the ground.
THE IDEA
The plan took shape in the disruption's wake: a Hong Kong trading company backed by our own operations team in China, built to be the trusted partner on the ground.
PROVING GROUND
We started with critical components for demanding industries and built our vendor, audit, and inspection systems to that standard.
TODAY · EXPANSION
Those proven systems now carry a growing range of products to every market we serve, at the same standard we started with.
HONG KONG
Contracts, invoicing, and trader of record. Your commercial relationship is with a Hong Kong company, in USD, under commercial law you can act on.
CHINA
Our own operations team: vendor development, quality control, audits, and consolidation, on the ground where the goods are made.
WHERE GOODS GO
Most of our customers are in the United States, Canada, and Latin America today, and goods ship worldwide. Each destination is quoted on its own rules.
